Josephine Lewis
COUNCILMAN SEAT 1

Josephine Lewis serves as Vice Mayor for the City of Jacob. She has been on the council since 2010. She is committed to making our city a pleasant place to live and visit. She is a retired CFM Supervisor from Jackson and Washington County. She also works part-time at First Baptist Church in Chipley FL in their Food Service Department. She is the mother of 7. She is grandmother of 12. She also has 6 great-grands. She is a member of New Beginnings Church, Jacob Fl. She graduated from St. Paul High School and Certified Food Manager certificate from Chipola College.

Earnest Hall
COUNCILMAN SEAT 2

Ernest Hall was 1st elected to the Jacob City Council in 2013. He served for two years. He was elected again in 2016 and has been serving faithfully since. He oversees the water and makes sure that everyone bill is paid on time. He graduated from St. Paul High School and retired from the U S Army. He is married to Sandra Hall. He has one daughter and one grandson. He is a member of St. Mary MBC church, Jacob FL.

Felix George
MAYOR COUNCILMAN SEAT 3

Felix George is the youngest of ten children born to BC and Addie George. He attended the public school systems of Henry and Houston Counties in Alabama. Felix also attended Wallace College, Bethany Bible College of Alabama and Baptist Bible College of Florida. Mayor George proudly served his country with 5 years of active duty service in the US Army including 1 year Dessert Storm and 5 years as a reservist. He is married to Anetha Pittman George, father to Chimmorrie, Benita and Isaac. He is the proud grandfather to his 11 precious grandbabies. Felix George was called to preach the word of God in 2006 and has served at the pastor of Greater Bethlehem Baptist Church in Midland City AL since 2014. Mayor George is an avid fisherman. He also enjoys gardening and hunting in his free time.

Jonitha Williams
COUNCILMAN SEAT 4

Jonitha Williams was born and raised in this community. She serves now as Councilwoman Seat 4 for the City of Jacob. She recently joined the council on October 2, 2023. She is committed to helping our city to become safe and a pleasant place to live and visit.

Professionally, she graduated with honors from Cottondale High school in 1986. This same year, she attended Florida A&M University's nursing program and graduated with honors and obtained a Bachelors of Science Nursing Degree in 1989. She worked in the professional field of nursing for over 20 years as a Registered Nurse Clinical Nurse Specialist. As a Registered Nurse Clinical Nurse Specialist, she knows the field of service to people and communities as a whole. She knows that service is the foundation in which we build strong solid communities. She is now retired after 20 years of service as a Registered Nurse working with the Tallahassee Memorial Hospital and Capital Regional Hospital both of Tallahassee, Florida. She still serves her community and local church as the nurse and health and wellness provider; providing nursing services and assistance whenever and wherever she's needed.
