CITY MANAGER
Verloria Wilson is married to Eric Wilson and the proud parents of two Quentshon (Alexis) and Kieric Wilson. She is the grandmother of Zariyah & Zamire Wilson. She has been employed with the City of Jacob for over 16 years as City Clerk and was recently promoted to City Manager. She oversees the entire office. Her duties include Administrative, Day to Day Operations, Public Communication, Accounts Receivable/Account Payable & Park/Recreation Maintenance. She received a certificate in Vocational Office Education from Washington/Holmes Vocational Center, Chipley FL She also received a Diploma in Computer and Business from Riley College, Dothan Alabama. She also received her Bookkeeping Specialist Certificate from US Career Institute. She attends St. Mary MBC Church, Jacob FL.

The City Manager, is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the City and provides centralized direction and leadership for the effective administration and operations of all municipal services for the City as directed by the City Commission and serves as the focal point for the management of the City staff.

The City Manager prepares and submits to the City Commission a balanced plan of municipal services in adherence with the policy goals and objectives established by the City Commission while employing such managerial techniques as needed to assure efficient and effective utilization of the City's resources.

The City Manager manages all City-owned public utilities operated and managed by the City and enforces all laws, ordinances, and regulations relative to the preservation and promotion of public health and welfare of the community.
